Hello, kinmates!

Hope this letter finds you well.

As you know, I haven't had the chance to play as of late.  Real life has mostly taken much of my time.  Most of my game time is only when I'm at work (it's weird, I know), but a few months back my company has restricted all game sites, social networks, and proxys.  That meant they blocked LOTRO.com, and the LOTRO launcher goes through the website and thus I cannot log in through that.  I can still log in to other games like Aion, WoW, DDO, and such because I think they have different IPs that aren't recognized as game sites.

Of course, I can't log in from work, so I guess I can play from home, right? Not as easy as it seems.  I have 2 toddlers (3yo and 1yo) and being as active as they are, I constantly have "baby aggro".  Also, my 1yo is learning to disrupt my gametime by banging on the keyboard or taking away my mouse, hehe. Like today, as I was writing this letter, she pressed the ESC button and poof went the letter (argh!).  And here's a new letter I'm making now, hehe.

In this case, I will have to step down as your leader. I will pass it on to Doddric (Brecca to some of you) and I'll let him choose his new successor. I won't be gone forever from the kinship. I will still be logging in, saying hi, etc., so don't fret you won't see me. I still have lifetime membership after all.

Like I always say to y'all, family comes first no matter what, this is only a game to enjoy yourself. As I say that, I can't help but say you are also my family, too, which leaves me with a heavy heart. Most of you have already gone to another kinship, but that is okay. I understand your need for end-game content, and you must go where your heart wishes to. I will not stand in your way. But know in my heart that you will always be family, forever.

So, as my last thing as leader, I will say:

"AoLL for one, and one for AoLL!"

I hope nothing but the best for you and your time away, hopefully work comes to their senses and blocks Aion and releases Lotro IP (have you tried Proxying or Remote desktoping to your home pc from work?).

Heya Aziel, I have NEVER had as good a Kin/Guild leader as you have been. Best wishes to you and hopefully we can chat ingame sometime when you pop on to say hello 

Dang, Az, what a bummer.  LOTRO is my first MMOG and AoLL my first kinship, and I must say that LOTRO would not have been, or be, the same without the AoLL you set up.  I hope you can keep one toon.  You know, you can have fun without having 8 or 9 toons capped out   Look at me for example!  I can't even get one fully outfitted.

Anyway, you made this a great gaming experience, so thanks.  Make sure to look me up when you get time to log in.
